The second edition of this 20 page insert for the 'Red Book' contains additional information for parents and professionals which will help them maintain the health and well being of babies born with Down's syndrome.

The second edition insert has been produced by the UK Down's Syndrome Medical Interest Group. The text of this new edition has been revised following feedback from 1000 parents. The health check recommendations have been updated and UK growth charts which start from birth replace the US charts used in the first edition.

Do you have the latest edition?

The second edition of the PCHR insert was published two years ago in October 2000 and is considerably revised. It has come to our notice that some new parents are still being issued with this now out of date first edition. The 2nd edition is clearly labelled 'Second edition, October 2000' and has the photograph of our 'cover girl' on the front next to a box saying 'Children with Down's syndrome'.
