The DSMIG is pleased to announce the date of its Winter Academic Meeting on 15th November 2024, at Royal Society of Medicine, London.

- Dr Narad Mathura, Consultant Developmental Paediatrician, Mary Sheridan Centre, Evelina London Children’s Healthcare – Autism and Down Syndrome
- Mr Nicholas Haden, Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeon, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital – Cervical Spine Instability in Children with Down Syndrome
- Dr Ashley Liew, Consultant Paediatric Neuropsychiatrist, Newcomen Neurodevelopmental Service, Evelina London Children’s Healthcare – Neurodevelopmental and Mental Health Aspects in Children and Young People with Down Syndrome
- Professor Dean Nizetic from the Blizard Institute at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London will give an update on what we have learned about ageing and Alzheimer’s Disease from cells donated by people with Down Syndrome – What can be learned about ageing and Alzheimer’s Disease from cells donated by people with Down Syndrome?
